Our development funding programs support Western Australian writers, directors, and producers to develop scripted and documentary projects.

Scripted Development Investment Fund

Applications close Monday, 22 May at 5:00pm AWST.

The Scripted Development Investment Fund provides Concept Development (Stage One) and Project Development (Stage Two) funding to new, emerging, and experienced Western Australian practitioners creating scripted content for all delivery platforms (including cinematic release).

Successful applicants will work toward delivering quality, distinctive projects that can reach their target audience and attract further investment and/or market interest.

Documentary Development Investment Fund

Applications close Monday, 3 July at 5:00pm AWST

Documentary Development Investment Funding invests in the development of documentary and factual programming in order to support and grow a sustainable Western Australian screen industry.

Matched Development Investment Fund

Matched Development Investment funding is designed to support Western Australian companies or individuals that have secured project development funding from a nationally or internationally recognised broadcaster or distributor.

Emergency Development Investment Fund

Emergency Development Investment funding is designed to support Western Australian companies or individuals that have entered into the active development of a project with market attachment and have a bona fide time critical deadline.
