Best recognized for her role as Chandramukhi Chautala in the sitcom F.I.R., Kavita has charmed audiences with her comedic timing, bold personality, and commanding screen presence.

 

Early Life and Background:
Kavita Kaushik was born on February 15, 1981, in Delhi, India. She grew up in a middle-class Punjabi family, with her father, Dinesh Chandra Kaushik, serving as a former CRPF officer. Kavita pursued her education at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, where she completed a degree in Philosophy.

 

During her college years, Kavita actively participated in modeling, hosting events, and theatre, which ignited her passion for performing arts. Encouraged by her success in these fields, she decided to try her luck in the entertainment industry.

 

Career Beginnings:
Kavita made her acting debut in 2001 with the TV show Kutumb, where she played a supporting role. Although the role was small, her talent was evident, and she soon started receiving offers for more prominent roles in television series such as Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan.
