Khahish Kahlon

Born on August 14, I am a doctor by profession and a passionate performer with over a decade of experience in Punjabi folk dance, especially Gidha. As the founder and captain of Tandaan Virasat Diyan, I created this platform to empower young women, helping them embrace their identity, connect to their heritage, and grow through the art of dance.

Throughout my journey, I have choreographed, taught, and performed at numerous events, from community festivals to large-scale stage productions. Dance is more than just a hobby—it is my creative expression, cultural anchor, and a core part of who I am.

Balancing my medical career with my dedication to dance has strengthened my discipline, empathy, and leadership in unique ways. This year, I am honored to lead my team to interstate performances, representing Punjabi culture with energy, elegance, and pride. Whether in scrubs or on stage, I carry the same passion and commitment—to uplift others, stay true to my roots, and embrace lifelong growth.
