Patty Lin
Biography
Patty Lin is an American television writer and producer best known for her work on popular series such as Freaks and Geeks, Friends, Desperate Housewives, and Breaking Bad. In addition to writing for acclaimed TV shows, she developed pilot scripts for major networks, including Fox, CBS, and Nickelodeon. Her Breaking Bad episode, “Gray Matter,” earned a Writers Guild Award nomination. After leaving television writing in 2009, she turned to authoring books and published her memoir, End Credits: How I Broke Up with Hollywood, in 2023, reflecting on her experiences in the entertainment industry.
