Biography
Aadhya Anand, born in Coorg, India, and raised in Singapore, is an Indian actress, model & dancer
Aadhya made her debut in the web world with the Netflix original series 'Bombay Begums' in March 2021 as one of the leads, Shai Irani.
She plays the youngest Begum. Bombay Begums is a story of 5 women across generations wrestling with desire, ethics, personal crisis, and vulnerabilities to own their ambition in the contemporary world.
Aadhya, at the age of 9, made her acting debut in a Singapore-based movie "A Yellow Bird' which was screened at the International Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.
Soon after the debut she starred in another Singapore-based movie "Utter 2016: One Hour to Daylight" a social drama set in present-day Singapore, in an estate where cultural and social tensions threaten to divide its inhabitants.
She starred in a commercially successful Singapore-based multi-season series 'Whoopie's World' and played a crucial role in the critically acclaimed Singapore-based series 'Lion Mums 2,3, Menantu International 2, Word Whizz Slime Pit, and others.
She is the first Junior Host of Zee TV show 'Brain Boosters' with 2 seasons airing in 18 countries.
She has modeled appearances in several print and television advertising campaigns such as Cornetto, Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore, Sensodyne, Reliance, and TVS Jupiter. She was the face of Fox Fashion Israel.
She is the recipient of 'The Singtel Young Achiever's Award 2017' in Singapore and the youngest recipient of 'The Singara Award' at the International Kannada Cultural Conference held in Singapore 2017.
Aadhya is also known for winning the Super Dancer title of Sony TVs Super Dancer Singapore.
