Aanchal Budhiraja was born on 20 March 1996 in New Delhi, India. She is an adaptive and versatile storyteller with a diverse portfolio spanning television shows, web series, books, audiobooks, and comics.
A postgraduate with an M.Sc. International Economics, Aanchal’s journey into the world of storytelling took a remarkable turn when she won the prestigious Disney Star Writers Program (2020) — a recognition that opened doors to the Indian television and OTT space.
Over the years, she has written for several popular television and web series, including Aashiqana, Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, Baalveer 3, Namak Issk Ka, Sasural Simar Ka 2, and many more. Her writing is known for blending emotional depth with engaging narratives that resonate with a wide range of audiences.
Beyond screenwriting, Aanchal is also an accomplished author, having penned several successful titles such as Baking With Boys, The Demon Babysitter, and Stay Afloat, My CEO.
