Biography

Aaron Clifton Moten was born on February 28, 1989, in Austin, Texas. He began acting at the age of 12 after playing a lead role in a school production of The Diviners. His passion for performance led him to attend the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2011.

 

 

Stage Career

After graduating from Juilliard, Moten began his professional career in theatre. He appeared in several stage productions, including a notable performance as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing. His talent was recognized early when he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for his role as Avery in The Flick (2013).

 

 

Film and Television Career

Aaron Moten transitioned into film and television with a range of roles that showcased his versatility as an actor.

 

He was a main cast member in the Netflix sitcom Disjointed (2017–2018), where he played Travis Feldman.

 

In 2020, he appeared in the Fox drama Next, portraying Ben.

 

His film credits include Father Stu (2022), in which he played Ham, and Emancipation (2022), where he appeared as Knowls.

 

In 2024, Moten gained widespread attention for his role as Maximus in the Amazon Prime Video series Fallout, playing a squire in the Brotherhood of Steel.
