Biography

Abby Elliott is an American actress, comedian, and writer known for her work in television, film, and comedy. She was born on 16 June 1987 in New York City, USA, and is the daughter of comedian and actor Chris Elliott.

 

Elliott began performing comedy at a young age and gained national attention as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (SNL), where she appeared from 2008 to 2012. During her time on the show, she became known for her celebrity impressions and comedic performances.

After leaving SNL, Elliott appeared in several television productions, including How I Met Your Mother, Odd Mom Out, Indebted, and Alone Together. She has also worked in films such as No Strings Attached (2011) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014).

 

Her major recent success came with the FX comedy-drama series The Bear (2022–present), in which she portrays Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto, Carmy's pregnant sister. Sugar attempts to help stabilize the family's restaurant while dealing with complicated family relationships and her brother's struggles.
