Achyuth Kumar

Biography

Hailing from Karnataka, India, Achyuth Kumar is an Indian actor, who primarily works in the Kannada film industry. He gained recognition for his roles in movies such as Josh (2009), Lucia (2013), Drishya (2014), and Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014).

For Josh, Lucia, and Drishya, he won a Filmfare Award each for Best Supporting Actor, while for Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari, Achyuth Kumar took home the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Achyuth also starred in the 2016 hit, Kirik Party.

His 2017 release includes Beautiful Manasugalu, Srinivasa Kalyana, Urvi, Raajakumara, Aake, Mugulu Nage, and College Kumar. In 2018, he appeared in films like Chalo and KGF: Chapter One, for which he received the SIIMA Award nomination.

In 2019, he starred as Meera`s father in Adithya Varma, a remake of the 2017 Telugu movie Arjun Reddy. He made his OTT debut with the Kannada movie Bheemasena Nalamaharaja (2020), which was released on Amazon Prime Video.

His other movie of the year includes Soorarai Pottru, a Tamil biographical film. Achyuth Kumar`s 2021 projects include Yuvarathnaa and Salaga.
