Akira Kanbe
Biography
Akira Kanbe is a Japanese producer known for his work in film and television. He has produced a number of successful Japanese productions, including Orange (2015), Let Me Eat Your Pancreas (2017), My Little Monster (2018), and You Shine in the Moonlight (2019).
Kanbe later served as an executive producer on Netflix’s House of Ninjas (2024), a Japanese action-drama series about a former ninja family forced to return to their secretive past.
His production credits also include My Teacher, My Love (2018), Hibiki (2018), Babysitter Gin! (2019), and The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill (2021). Through his work on feature films and streaming productions, Kanbe has established himself as an experienced producer in the Japanese entertainment industry.
