Alan Taylor
Biography
An American screenwriter and director, Alan Taylor is best known for directing The Emperor's New Clothes (2001) and Thor: The Dark World (2013). He made his debut as a director in 1995 with Palookaville. Since then Taylor has worked on movies like Kill the Poor (2003) and Terminator Genisys (2015).
Over the years he has also directed episodes for popular television shows like Traders (1996-2000), Oz (1997-2003), Homicide: Life on the Street (1993-1999), The West Wing (1999-2006), Six Feet Under (2001-2005), Sex and the City (1998-2004), Deadwood (2004-2006), Rome (2005-2007), Rome (2005-2007), The Sopranos (1999-2007), Mad Men (2007-2015), Bored to Death (2009-2011), and Game of Thrones (2011).
