Biography
Professionally known as one of the Hughes brothers, Albert Hughes is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. Having started his career at the early age of twenty-one, he is best known for violent films like Menace II Society (1993), American Pimp (1999), and From Hell (2001).
He also worked in music videos like Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler), and Thoughtless. He has also directed the film The Book of Eli (2010) and the documentary We the Economy: 20 Short Films You Can`t Afford to Miss (2014). His other projects include Alpha (2018).
