Alexander Prasanth
Biography
Alexander Prasanth (born 2 November 1979) is an Indian actor and producer who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. Born in Thiruvalla, Kerala, he began his career as an anchor before entering films. He made his acting debut with Nammal (2002).
He initially appeared mainly in supporting and character roles. His notable films include Ordinary (2012), Action Hero Biju (2016), The Great Father (2017), India's Most Wanted (2019), Jallikattu (2019), Operation Java (2021) and Purusha Pretham (2023).
His performance as Sebastian in Purusha Pretham brought him particular recognition. He also played Basheer in Operation Java.
Alexander Prasanth has also appeared in more recent Malayalam productions including Pani (2024), Gumasthan (2024), Marana Mass (2025), Pariwar (2025) and Lurk (2026). IMDb lists him with more than 80 acting credits.
He is known for bringing a distinctive presence to supporting, comic, and character-driven roles and has gradually moved into more prominent parts in contemporary Malayalam cinema.
