Alleppey Ranganath was an Indian musician, composer, and poet who was associated with Malayalam cinema and devotional music. He was particularly known for his contributions to Malayalam devotional songs and stage productions.
Born in 1949 in Alappuzha, Kerala, Ranganath developed an interest in music from an early age. He worked as a composer and lyricist and became associated with numerous devotional and cultural programmes.
He also contributed music to Malayalam films and was involved in theatre and other performing arts. His musical work was known for its devotional character and traditional influences.
