Biography
Al Lichtman was an American film producer and studio executive who had a long career in the Hollywood film industry.
He was born Albert Lichtman on March 20, 1904, in New York City. He worked in film distribution and production and became associated with major Hollywood studios during the Golden Age of cinema.
Lichtman held executive positions at RKO Pictures and 20th Century Fox, among other companies. He was involved in the production and distribution of numerous films and played an important role behind the scenes in the American film industry.
He later worked as a producer, with credits including films from the 1940s and 1950s. His career spanned several decades of major changes in Hollywood.
Al Lichtman died on February 25, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 73.
