Biography
Amala Rose Kurian is an Indian actress and television personality who has worked primarily in the Malayalam entertainment industry, with appearances in Tamil cinema as well. She is also known by the name Amala Rose. Her birthplace is listed as Kottayam, Kerala.
She began her acting career in Malayalam television and gained attention through serials including Paadasaram and Sthreedhanam. She became particularly known for playing negative and challenging characters on television. In an interview, she discussed the strong audience reaction to her portrayal of Urmila in Paadasaram.
