Biography
Edwin Sakay or AM Edwin Sakay is a cinematographer who works in the Telugu film industry. He belongs to Chengalpattu in the state of Tamil Nadu. He started working as a cinematographer at Passion Studios in Chennai in the year 2014 and has been associated with the studio ever since.
He worked as the director of photography for the Telugu horror movie Andhaghaaram (2020) released on Netflix. His work in Andhaghaaram won him nominations at the South Indian International Movie Awards and the Critics’ Choice Film Awards for his cinematography.
He has also worked as a cinematographer for Damaal Dumeel in 2014 Maayabimbum (2019), Enthiran (2010), and Aneethi (2023).
