Amelia Eve is an English actress known for her work in film and television. She gained international recognition for portraying Jamie in the Netflix supernatural horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020).

Early Life

Amelia Eve was born on December 22, 1992, in London, England. She developed an interest in acting while growing up and later pursued professional training and opportunities in the British entertainment industry.

Career

Eve began her screen career with appearances in short films and television projects. Her early credits included Enterprise (2017), Idris Elba's Turn Up Charlie (2019), and Belgravia (2020).

Her breakthrough came with The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), the second installment in Mike Flanagan's The Haunting anthology. Eve played Jamie, a gardener at the mysterious Bly Manor who develops a close relationship with Dani Clayton, portrayed by Victoria Pedretti. Her performance earned her international attention.

Following the success of The Haunting of Bly Manor, Eve continued working in television and film. She appeared in the science-fiction film Big Gold Brick (2022), alongside Oscar Isaac and Andy García, and took on a recurring role in the television series The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan's projects.

She later appeared in The Buccaneers (2023), an Apple TV+ period drama based on Edith Wharton's unfinished novel. The series provided her with an opportunity to work in a historical setting and further broadened her range.
