Biography
A. M. R. Ramesh is an Indian filmmaker, producer, writer, and actor who primarily works in Kannada and Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with Santhosha (2004) and gained recognition with Cyanide (2006), a film based on the events surrounding the death of LTTE operative Sivarasan.
He subsequently directed films including Minchina Ota (2008), Police Quarters (2011), Attahasa (2013), and Game (2016). His most notable work, Attahasa, is a biographical film about forest brigand Veerappan, with Kishore portraying the title role and Arjun Sarja playing Special Task Force officer Vijay Kumar. The film was also released in Tamil as Vana Yuddham and dubbed into Telugu as Veerappan.
Ramesh has also contributed as a writer, handling story, screenplay, and dialogue for several of his films, including Cyanide, Police Quarters, Attahasa, and Game.
