Early Life and Background:
Anas Rashid was born on August 31, 1980, in Malerkotla, Punjab, into a conservative and traditional Muslim family. Raised in a close-knit family, Anas pursued his early education in Punjab and later earned a master's degree in Psychology. Fluent in multiple languages, including Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic, Anas also has a strong foundation in Islamic studies, which reflects his deep connection to his roots.

He was interested in performing arts from an early age, but his journey into the entertainment industry began after he won the title of Mr. Punjab in a local competition.

Career Beginnings:
Anas Rashid made his acting debut in the Hindi television industry with the show Kahiin To Hoga (2006), where he played the role of Kartik Ahluwalia. Though it was a supporting role, his performance caught the attention of audiences and producers alike.

He followed this with roles in shows like Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2006–2009), where he portrayed the titular character of Prithviraj Chauhan during his youth. This role marked a turning point in his career, showcasing his ability to handle historical and intense roles with ease.

Breakthrough with Diya Aur Baati Hum:
Anas achieved nationwide fame with his role as Sooraj Rathi in Diya Aur Baati Hum (2011–2016), aired on Star Plus. The show revolves around the journey of Sooraj, a humble and supportive husband, who encourages his wife, Sandhya, to pursue her dream of becoming an IPS officer despite societal pressures.
