Early Life and Path to Acting: Anja Kling's interest in acting was nurtured early, partly influenced by her older sister, Gerit Kling, who is also an actress. While she initially considered studying medicine or journalism, her sister's encouragement played a role in her decision to pursue acting. She honed her craft by studying at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" in Berlin, a prestigious acting school. Notably, she moved to West Germany five days before the fall of the Berlin Wall, a significant moment in German history.
