Anjjan Bhattacharya is one of India’s most talented composers and performers, known for creating chart-topping hits and soulful music. Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Anjjan began his musical journey in 1995 when he won the HMV FM Best Jingle Award (Hindi category), marking an early recognition of his talent. Soon after, he participated in one of India’s first singing reality shows, Meri Awaz Suno, where he earned the Best Talent Hunt Award in 1996. These early achievements laid the foundation for his successful career in the music industry.

 

 

Career

Anjjan Bhattacharya rose to widespread fame with the blockbuster song Baby Doll from the film Ragini MMS 2. The track became one of the most popular songs of 2014 and established him as a major force in Bollywood music.

 

Following this breakthrough, he continued delivering hit songs such as Boss, Mere Nishaan, Pinky, Shirt Da Button, Hangover, Party Toh Banti Hai, and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan. These tracks not only topped charts but also earned him widespread acclaim and numerous awards.

 

His work on Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan and other songs brought him several prestigious honors, including Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, BIG Star Entertainment Awards, and Dada Saheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards.
