Ankita Chakraborty is a prominent Indian actress, predominantly known for her work in Bengali cinema and television. Born on August 18, 1986, in Kolkata, India, she has captivated audiences with her exceptional acting skills and versatility.   

Early Life and Career Beginnings:

Ankita's passion for acting ignited during her high school years, leading her to participate in theater productions. Her television debut came in 2009 with the show "Agnipariksha." However, it was her role as Kamalika Mukherjee, an economics professor, in the popular series "Ishti Kutum" (2011) that brought her widespread recognition.   

From Television to Film:

In 2014, Ankita made her foray into Bengali cinema with the critically acclaimed mystery thriller "Byomkesh Phire Elo." Her portrayal of Satyabati, Byomkesh Bakshi's intelligent and resourceful wife, earned her praise from both audiences and critics. She went on to star in several other successful Byomkesh films, including "Byomkesh Bakshi," "Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana," and "Byomkesh O Agnibaan."
