Anshu Saggar (née Ambani) is a British Indian actress known for her work in Telugu cinema in the early 2000s. She rose to fame with her role in Manmadhudu (2002), where she starred alongside Nagarjuna Akkineni, and later appeared in Raghavendra (2003) with Prabhas. After a long hiatus of 21 years, she made her comeback with Mazaka, featuring Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh.
Early and Personal Life
Anshu was born and raised in London. She later married Sachin Saggar, who is also based in London. The couple has two children—a daughter and a son. During her break from films, she worked professionally as a psychologist.
Career
Anshu was first noticed by cinematographer Kabir Lal, who introduced her to director K. Vijaya Bhaskar. This led to her debut in Manmadhudu, where she gained popularity, especially for the song “Gundello Emundho.”
She went on to act in Raghavendra and also appeared in the Tamil film Jai, starring Prashanth. Following her marriage, she stepped away from the film industry before eventually making her return years later.
