Biography
Apara Mehta, a revered artist in TV and theater for over four decades. A classically trained singer and dancer who initially anchored a Gujarati children`s program on Doordarshan. Her journey led to prominence in both commercial and experimental theater.
She gained fame as Savita Virani in "Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and shone in shows like "Saat Phere," "Virudhh," and "Parivaar." A versatile talent, she showcased her singing, comedy, and acting skills on various platforms.
A stalwart of Gujarati theater, she enjoyed a prolific partnership with Feroz Bhagat, delivering numerous hits. Her passion for theater remains unwavering, with over 50 stage performances to her credit.
In addition to her TV and theater accomplishments, Apara has ventured into OTT platforms with roles in Netflix`s "Decoupled" and Amazon Mini TV`s "Staffroom."
