Arjun Ashokan (born 24 August 1993) is an Indian actor who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. He is the son of popular actor Harisree Ashokan and has steadily carved out his own identity through a series of notable performances in contemporary Malayalam cinema.
Early Life and Background
Born into a family deeply connected to cinema, Arjun Ashokan was exposed to the film world from an early age. Despite his lineage, he chose to build his career gradually, focusing on performance-driven roles rather than relying on his background alone.
Career
Arjun made his acting debut with Orkut Oru Ormakoot, which featured a group of newcomers. His breakthrough came with Parava, the directorial debut of actor Soubin Shahir, where his performance received positive attention for its realism and emotional depth.
He further strengthened his position with roles in films such as B. Tech and the sleeper hit June, both of which resonated strongly with younger audiences. Over the years, Arjun has demonstrated versatility through a wide range of roles in films like Varathan, Unda, Super Sharanya, Pranaya Vilasam, and Romancham (2023).
