Arjun Jena
Biography
Arjun Jena is an Indian cinematographer born on March 6, 1971, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He began his career in the film industry as an assistant cameraman under the guidance of renowned cinematographer P. C. Sreeram. During the early 1990s, Jena worked on several notable films, including Thevar Magan (1992), Thiruda Thiruda (1993), May Madham (1994), Subha Sankalpam (1994), and Kurudhipunal (1995).
In 1996, Jena joined cinematographer Jeeva as an operating cameraman, contributing to films such as Indian (1996), Ullasam (1997), Vaali (1999), Kushi (2000), Run (2002), Zor (2002), Hera Pheri (2000), and Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar (2001).
Career Highlights
Arjun Jena made his debut as a lead cinematographer with the Tamil film Kadhal Virus (2000), directed by Kathir, for which he received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Cinematographer.
