Ashima Narwal
Biography
Ashima Narwal is an Indian-Australian actress and model who has worked primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Born on 27 December 1995 in Haryana, India, she later moved to Australia for her education.
Early Life and Education
Ashima developed an interest in modelling while living in Australia. She pursued higher education there and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Technology Sydney. Before entering films, she participated in beauty pageants and modelling assignments.
Modelling and Pageants
In 2015, Ashima won two beauty-pageant titles: Miss Sydney Australia Elegance and Miss India Global. These achievements helped establish her as a model and provided a platform for her eventual transition into acting.
Acting Career
Ashima made her Telugu film debut with Natakam (2018), an action thriller directed by Kalyanji Gogana. She played the female lead Parvati, opposite Ashish Gandhi. The film was released on 28 September 2018.
She entered Tamil cinema with Kolaigaran (2019), starring alongside Vijay Antony and Arjun Sarja. She played the role of Dharani/Aaradhana in the crime thriller.
The same year, she appeared in the Telugu horror film Jessie and was also associated with Killer. She later featured in the anthology film Pitta Kathalu (2021), playing Indu in one of its segments.
Ashima subsequently appeared in Sakalagunabhi Rama (2022) as Swathi and continued her work in South Indian cinema. Her later credits include the Tamil film Rajabheema (2025) and the Telugu film Oka Pathakam Prakaaram (2025).
