Ashok Ghai
Biography
An Indian film producer and director, Ashok Ghai is noted for his works mainly in Bollywood cinema. Having started his career as an assistant director with Karz (1980), he subsequently worked as an AD in Krodhi (1981). The assistant director-turned-producer made his production debut with Karma in 1986.
His other notable production ventures include Ram Lakhan (1989), Saudagar (1991), Khal Nayak (1993), Yaadein (2001), Ek Aur Ek Gyarah: By Hook by Crook (2003), Hello Darling (2010) and Double DI Trouble (2014). Apart from producing films, Ashok Ghai has also directed feature films like Sham Ghansham (1998), an action drama starring Rakhee Gulzar, Chandrachur Singh, and Arbaaz Singh.
