Biography
Ashok Kumar Beniwal, also credited as Ashok Beniwal, is an Indian actor, acting coach, voice artist, and performance mentor. He began his acting career in theatre in Jaipur in 1993 before moving to Mumbai in 1998 to pursue acting professionally. He has worked across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, English, and other-language productions.
Beniwal has built a career spanning films, television, and web series. He is known for portraying police officers, government officials, and other authoritative characters. His notable film credits include Dil Hai Tumhara (2002), Apharan (2005), Jail (2009), Zila Ghaziabad (2013), Hate Story 2 (2014), Billa II (2012), and Darbar (2020).
On television and streaming platforms, he appeared as ASP Roshan Sinha in Mirzapur and played Judge Rastogi in Aashram. He has also appeared in C.I.D., Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond, Do Gubbare, and several other television and digital productions.
Alongside acting, Beniwal has developed a career as an acting and performance coach. He created training methods focused on emotional expression, subconscious processes, and performance, and has conducted acting workshops and training programmes for aspiring performers.
