Ashwath Naganathan
Biography
Ashwath is known for Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum (2016), FIR (2022), and Nalanum Nandhiniyum (2014).
Ashwath hails from a family with deep roots in Carnatic music. Ashwath's first guru was Smt. Jayalakshmi Sundararajan, from whom he underwent training for 2 years on the basics. Soon after, in 1998, Ashwath started learning directly from Sangeetha Kalanidhi Palghat Sri KV Narayanaswamy, one of the greatest maestros of all time in Carnatic music.
His guru identified the raw talent in him and helped bring it to the fore. He had 4 years of rigorous training under Sri KV Narayanaswamy until his demise in April 2002. Since then, Ashwath has been undergoing intensive training under his aunt and Guru Smt. Padma Narayanaswamy.
