Biography
Ashwathy Ravikumar also known as Ashwathy Warrier is an Indian film actress, singer, model, and performer born to A V Ravikumar and Ambili Ravikumar. She has predominantly worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She holds an engineering degree from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai.
Her career kicked off with the sitcom Yuppies Ku Mattum Alla on an Indian television channel Puthiyathalaimurai. From there she moved on to work in commercially successful movies such as Maalai pozhuthin Mayakathile, Neethane en ponvasantham, Yetto vellipoyindhi manasu, Ente Sathyanweshana parikshanangal, Maan Karate (Disney+ Hotstar), Kannula Kaasa Kattappa ( Amazon Prime) and Vadham. Before making her silver screen debut, Ashwathy appeared in several popular television commercials such as Chakra Gold Tea, and Parle G amongst others.
Ashwathy is also known for off-screen involvement in media production, coordination, and research. Her latest off-screen experience includes Production Management for Jagame Thanthiram (Netflix), Small Axe( Amazon Prime (TV series), London, and Production team Drowning in Plastic documentary (BBC) - Junior Researcher. Currently straddling between London and India, she continues to work for independent films.
