Atul Kale
Biography
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Atul Kale is an actor, singer, musician, and director, who started his stage career during his college days. Drawn to experimental theater, Atul has appeared in several Marathi and English language plays such as Katha Mastaramachi, Farsh - Babulchya Premacha, Anamay, and Planchet.
Much before he could pursue his movie career, his father passed away and Atul had to take up his father`s position at Oriental Insurance. Nonetheless, he was coaxed to sing professionally by one of his colleagues, which led to him sharing the stage with the likes of Mahendra Kapoor and Johny Lever.
He was later approached by Mahesh Manjrekar to be a part of an English language play titled All The Best, following which he was a part of plays like Oh No Not Again, Monkey Business, Carry on Heaven, and Funny Thing Called Love.
Making his way into the film industry, Atul made his debut in 1999 with the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Vaastav: The Reality, going on to feature in other movies like Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Hathyar: Face to Face with Reality, Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Dear Zindagi, Guest in London, Blackmail, and Gold.
