Austin Amelio

Biography

Austin Amelio, born on 27 April 1988, is an American actor best known for his roles as Dwight in The Walking Dead and Nesbit in Everybody Wants Some!!. Before establishing himself as an actor, Amelio was also deeply involved in skateboarding, which played an important role in his early life and creative interests.

Acting Career

Amelio began his on-screen acting career with the 2010 short film Potluck, in which he played Vincent Lowe. He subsequently appeared in several short films before moving into larger film and television roles.

His breakthrough came with Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), directed by Richard Linklater, in which he portrayed Nesbit. The film helped introduce him to a wider audience and demonstrated his ability to work effectively within ensemble casts.

Amelio later joined the cast of the acclaimed television series The Walking Dead, playing Dwight, a complex character who becomes an important part of the show's storyline. His performance brought him considerable recognition and established him as a familiar face among television audiences.
