Baek Sang Hoon

Biography

Baek Sang-Hoon is a TV movie and series director who was born in 1979. He was born and brought up in South Korea. He debuted as a director in 2012 with the TV movie, My Prettiest Moments / When I Was The Prettiest. Jeon Ik-Ryung, Lee Jong-Suk, Song Young-Kyu, and Kim Soo-Yeon are cast. 

 

In the same year, he directed a TV movie, Romance on a Railway / Mellow In May, featuring Jo-An, Ki Tae-Young, Ki Joo-Bong, Lee Mi-Do, and Jo Jae-Wan. In 2013, he directed a TV series, Secret Love for KBS 2. Ji Sung, Hwang Jung-Eum, Bae Soo-Bin, and Lee Da-Hee are seen in the main roles.

 

In 2014, he directed a TV movie, Middle School Student A. Lee Yeol-Eum, Kwak Dong-Yeon, and Lee Han-Na were seen in the lead roles. In 2015, he directed the series, Who Are You: School 2015 with Kim So-Hyun, Kim So-Hyun, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Yook Sung-Jae, Lee Pil-Mo, David Lee, Park Doo-Sik, Jang In-Sub, Lee Jin-Kwon, Kim Min-Suk, and Lee Seung-Ho in the main roles. 

 

In 2016, Baek Sang-Hoon directed The Descendants of The Sun for KBS 2. Song Joong-Ki, Song Hye-Kyo, Jin Goo, Kim Ji-Won, and Kang Shin-Il played the lead roles.

 

 

In the same year, he directed Love In The Moonlight, co-directed by Kim Sung Yoon. Park Bo-Gum, Kim You-Jung, Jin Young, Chae Soo-Bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon are cast in the main roles. In 2020, he directed the series with Jung Ji-Hyun, King The Eternal Monarch. It aired on Fridays and Saturdays on SBS. 

 

Lee Min Ho played the male lead role, and Kim Go Eun played the female lead. Woo Do-Hwan, Lee Hong-Nae, Hwang Se-On, Kang Hong-Suk, Kim Young-Ok, Kim Yong-Ji, and Jeon Mu-Song are seen in the supporting cast.
