Barsha Chatterjee, born on June 8, 1989, in Kolkata, West Bengal, is a prominent Indian television actress known for her diverse roles across various genres. She completed her schooling at Pratt Memorial School in Kolkata and later pursued higher education at Calcutta University. Her early involvement in school and college ignited her passion for acting, leading her to relocate to Mumbai to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. ​

Career Beginnings and Television Success

Barsha commenced her acting career with the television show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii in 2008, portraying the character Shivangi Ishaan Kaul. She gained recognition for her roles in popular TV serials such as Ishq Ka Rang Safed (as Rachna), Aap Ke Aa Jane Se (as Maya Srinivasan), and Barrister Babu (as Devoleena Jadhav). Her versatility is evident in her performances across various shows, including Udaan, Chidiya Ghar, Neeli Chatri Waale, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, where she played Mitali Mami, a character with complex shades. ​
