He began his filmmaking career collaborating with film critic Yannick Dahan. Together, they directed the short film "Rivoallan" in 2007, featuring actors Jo Prestia and Alain Figlarz. This project set the stage for their subsequent work.

 

 

In 2009, Rocher and Dahan co-directed "La Horde," a film that blends horror and crime thriller elements. The narrative follows a group of police officers who, during a raid in a suburban building, find themselves confronting a horde of zombies. Despite being showcased at the Venice Film Festival, the film did not achieve significant commercial success.

 

 

Rocher continued to explore genre cinema with "Goal of the Dead" in 2014, a unique fusion of sports and zombie horror themes. The following year, he directed "Antigang" (2015), an action film that further solidified his reputation in the French action cinema landscape.
