Biography
An English composer, conductor, and pianist, Benjamin Wallfisch is known for his work in both the TV and film industries. Having made his debut as a composer for a feature film with Dear Wendy in 2005, over the years, Wallfisch has composed for more than 60 feature films (as of 2017).
Some of his most notable film credits as a composer include The Thirteenth Tale (2013), A Flickering Truth (2015), and Lights Out (2016). His 2017 projects include Annabelle: Creation (2017), an American supernatural horror film starring Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Anthony LaPaglia, and Miranda Otto, and It, which is an adaptation of Stephen King`s horror masterpiece of the same name.
In 2017 Benjamin worked on the music of Blade Runner 2049. The movie is a sequel to the 1982 movie and is directed by Denis Villeneuve. In 2018, he composed the music for Jennifer Yuh`s Hollywood sci-fi thriller The Darkest Minds, starring Amanda Stenberg and Gwendoline Christie in lead roles.
His other releases include Hellboy (2019) The Invisible Man (2020) and The Vanishing (2020). His 2021 releases include Mortal Kombat and The Starling.
