Career in Theatre

Benny embarked on his artistic journey in theatre, penning his first play, Athyunnathangalil Deivathinu Sthuthi, at the age of 19. This play was produced by the esteemed actor Rajan P. Dev's production company, with Benny portraying the role of Rajan's son. His prowess in playwriting led to the creation of notable dramas such as Vikalanga Varsham and Arabikkadalum Adbudavilakkum, both of which were later adapted into successful films.

Transition to Cinema

In 1992, Benny transitioned to the film industry as a screenwriter with his debut in First Bell, directed by P. G. Viswambharan.
