Biography
Bhadran is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is known for making films that combine strong characters, family emotions, drama and commercial entertainment.
Bhadran began his career in the film industry as an assistant director before establishing himself as an independent filmmaker. He made his directorial debut with Ente Mohangal Poovaninju (1982).
He went on to direct several successful Malayalam films, including Poomukhappadiyil Ninneyum Kathu (1986), Ithile Iniyum Varu (1986), Amaram (1991), Spadikam (1995) and Olympian Anthony Adam (1999). His films often explored family relationships, social conflicts and emotionally complex characters.
Bhadran is particularly remembered for Spadikam, starring Mohanlal as Aadu Thoma. The film became a major success and is regarded as one of the notable films in Malayalam cinema.
Throughout his career, Bhadran has collaborated with leading Malayalam actors and technicians. His distinctive storytelling style and memorable characters have earned him a respected place among Malayalam filmmakers.
