Biography
Bhavkhandan Singh Rakhra (B K Singh Rakhra) started working for the theater in Vancouver B.C., Canada early the age of 18 years and has been successfully working. He immigrated to Canada in 1974 from Punjab, India, and has been living in Vancouver, BC since then.
His passion for acting in theaters and films has grown tremendously and he has gained a respectable and reputable name in the industry since the start of his career in this. Mr. Rakhra completed his graduation from Vancouver and has received his certification in Management. He studied and took acting lessons and workshops through different acting institutions in Vancouver, B.C.
Mr. Rakhra is one of the successful actors who got the opportunity to work with well-known directors (Brad Turner, Martin Wood, Tony Pantages, Jaffrey Hunt, Jay Chandrasekhar, Navaniat Singh, Rohit Jugraj, Abdul Kayum, Sukhminder Dhanjal, Pali Bhupinder and many more) and actors of Hollywood, Bollywood and Pollywood (Maggie Lawson, Lisa Ray, Gulshan Grover, Mandy Takhar, Neeru Bajwa, Jimmy Shergill, Diljit Dosanjh, Jaswinder Bhalla, Gugu Gill and many others).
B K Singh Rakhra is a Canadian South Asian actor who can fluently speak and converse in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. He is very flexible, reliable, and easy to "work with" actors. Mr. B K Singh Rakhra was nominated for "THE LEO AWARDS in 2012" for his acting in the best male lead performance for his film "Afternoon Tea".
