Bobby Singh
Biography
- Born in 1974, Bobby Singh was a well-regarded Indian cinematographer who worked primarily in Bollywood.
- Career: Singh began his career as an assistant cameraman in films like Shehzaade (1989) and Sarfarosh (1999). He later worked as additional photography for Ghajini (2008). His debut as an independent cinematographer was with Anurag Basu's Gangster (2006), followed by Life in a Metro (2007).
- He is best known for his work in critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as The Dirty Picture (2011) and Queen (2014), the latter released posthumously. Other notable films he worked on include Woh Lamhe (2006), Kidnap (2008), No Problem (2010), and Jannat 2 (2012).
- Death: Sadly, Bobby Singh passed away due to an asthma attack on December 25, 2012, at the young age of 38. He left behind his wife and son. At the time of his death, he had completed shooting for Special Chabbis (2013).
