Early Life and Education: Fischer was born on September 8, 1976, in New York City, New York, U.S. He pursued his education at Columbia University, where he graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in film studies.

Career Start: After graduation, he began his career working for Phoenix Pictures and eventually rose to become the co-president of production at the company in 2007.

Production Companies: In 2011, Fischer established his own production company, Mythology Entertainment, while remaining a majority owner. He later joined New Republic Pictures as its President and Chief Content Officer in 2019, working alongside Brian Oliver. His career credits span roles as producer, executive producer, and co-executive producer.
