Wright served as the head writer and executive producer, crafting many of the series' most memorable episodes. Stargate SG-1 ran for ten seasons and spawned several spin-offs, including Stargate Atlantis (2004) and Stargate Universe (2009), both of which Wright also contributed to as a writer and producer.
