Biography

Brittany Leanna Robertson, professionally known as Britt Robertson, is an American actress born on April 18, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Raised in Greenville, South Carolina, she is the eldest of seven siblings. At 14, Robertson moved to Los Angeles with her grandmother to pursue acting, marking the beginning of her professional journey.

 

 

Robertson's early career included stage performances at the Greenville Little Theater and television appearances in shows like Sheena (2000) and Power Rangers: Time Force (2001). She gained recognition for her roles in The Ghost Club (2003) and Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers (2004). Her film debut came with Keeping Up with the Steins (2006), followed by notable roles in Dan in Real Life (2007) and The Tenth Circle (2008).

 

 

In 2010, Robertson starred in the Disney Channel original film Avalon High, and in 2011, she appeared in Scream 4. She gained further prominence with lead roles in the TV series Life Unexpected (2010–2011) and The Secret Circle (2011–2012), both of which garnered positive reviews.

 

 

Robertson's film career includes performances in The First Time (2012), Tomorrowland (2015), The Longest Ride (2015), Mother's Day (2016), and The Space Between Us (2017). She portrayed a fictionalized version of Sophia Amoruso in the Netflix series Girlboss (2017) and starred in the ABC legal drama For the People (2018–2019). In 2020, she played Melissa Henning in the faith-based film I Still Believe.

 

 

In 2022, Robertson joined the cast of The Rookie: Feds, portraying FBI Special Agent Laura Stensen. Her recent work includes the independent film The Re-Education of Molly Singer (2021).
