Carlotta Antonelli
Biography
Carlotta Antonelli, born on July 25, 1995, in Rome, Italy, is an Italian actress known for her work in film and television. She studied acting with the Hurum Teatr company and actress and acting teacher Gisella Burinato before beginning her professional career.
Antonelli made her television debut in Solo (2016). Her breakthrough came in 2017 when she was cast as Angelica Sale in Suburra: Blood on Rome, a role she played through 2020 and later reprised in Suburræterna (2023). Her performance in Suburra earned her the 2020 Ciak d'Oro for Revelation of the Year in TV Series.
Her film career includes Bangla (2019), The Disappearance of My Mother (2019), Morrison (2021), and Takeaway (2022). She has also appeared in television and streaming productions such as Immaturi – La serie (2018), Vivi e lascia vivere (2020), Bangla – La serie (2022), Bang Bang Baby (2022), and Everybody Loves Diamonds (2023).
