Callan Green is a New Zealand-born, award-winning Director of Photography (DP) known for his work across feature films and premium television. With over 27 years of experience in the camera department, he has built a reputation for a dynamic visual style and a highly collaborative approach to filmmaking.
Early Career and Background
Callan Green began his journey in the film industry, working his way through various roles in the camera department. Over nearly three decades, he developed a deep technical understanding of cinematography, eventually rising to become a leading Director of Photography on major international productions.
He is a member of both the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS), reflecting his strong professional standing in the field.
Career Highlights in Film
Green has worked on a wide range of high-profile feature films, often contributing to large-scale action productions. His recent work includes serving as Director of Photography on The Beekeeper 2, directed by Timo Tjahjanto and produced by Miramax.
