Casper Leaver
Biography
Casper Leaver is a British cinematographer and director of photography known for his work across television, documentary, comedy, and feature-film productions. His credits include Rush (2013), The Glam Metal Detectives (1995), Puppy Love (2014), and Clarkson's Farm.
Leaver worked as a camera assistant on The Glam Metal Detectives and later as a camera operator on Rush, contributing to the film's racing sequences. His work on Rush, directed by Ron Howard, involved filming the dramatic Formula One racing scenes.
As a cinematographer, Leaver served as director of photography on the BBC comedy series Puppy Love, working across all five episodes. He has also contributed to productions including Getting On, Damned, Carnage: Swallowing the Past, and The Petrol Age.
Leaver has a long association with motoring and factual entertainment, having worked on Top Gear as a camera operator and later on Clarkson's Farm as a cinematographer.
