Chai Hansen is a Thai-Australian actor best known for his dynamic screen presence and versatility across television and film. Born on February 8, 1989, in Ko Samui, Thailand, he later moved to Australia with his family, where he developed a strong interest in performance and athletics, particularly in track and field. His early discipline as an athlete contributed to his physicality and charisma as an actor.

Hansen first gained international attention for his role as Zac Blakely in the hit fantasy series Mako Mermaids (2013–2016), a spin-off of H2O: Just Add Water. His portrayal of a young man who transforms into a merman quickly made him a fan favorite, showcasing both his acting talent and screen charm.
