Known for playing the role of Tywin Lannister in HBO`s series Game of Thrones, Charles Dance is a veteran English actor known for his versatile roles in Hollywood. The initial years of his acting career consisted of roles in television series when he made his debut in 1974 Father Brown.
After starring in various roles in television as well as films, Charles Dance starred in pivotal roles which included films like Alien 3 (1992), Dark Blue World (2001), Midnight`s Children (2012), Dracula Untold (2014), The Imitation Game (2014), Victor Frankenstein (2014), Ghostbusters (2016), Johnny English Strikes Again (2018), Godzilla: King of the Monster (2019) and Mank (2020).
A member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he also made his debut as a writer and director with Ladies in Lavender (2004).
